I'm taking a break from blogging about weddings for a bit, and I just want to unload my brain on you for a long second. What am I going to talk about? A bit of everything. Trust me though, it'll be entertaining and fun, as you'll get to peer into what many consider, the mind of a crazy man. So lets get started!

Michael Vick got his first start this week against the Chiefs.

MICHAEL VICK: GREAT ROLE MODEL? YES

I'll just tell it the way I see it. What Michael Vick did was horrible, inexcusable, and disgusting. Does he deserve your forgiveness? Well, that's up to you. But he's got mine, even more than ever, and here's the reason why. Before the Eagles-Chiefs game today, Vick sat down with JB of CBS Sports to update him on his new life. He admitted that before prison, he was a cocky S.O.B, first off the field, non-team player, whose ego ruled his life. Emerging from prison was a new Michael Vick. A man committed to a new beginning.

To date, Vick has appeared in numerous schools, preaching himself as an example to kids, of what not to do, of what not to become. In my opinion, what a better role model to younger kids.

Vick also told JB about the hardest critics he had to answer to, his kids. His young son always asked him, "Why did you have to go away for so long?" Well he had to tell him the truth. His daughter always begged for a dog, and he had to tell her exactly why he was not allowed to own one for awhile. And it broke his heart to do so. It would break any fathers heart to tell their kids that they had failed them, and because of his failures, they had to suffer. Vick also mentioned that his grandmother had died while he was in prison. The last image she had of him, was him getting arrested, and walking into prison.

Prison can change a man and kids can change a father. He's humbled, he's found God, and that's all we can ask. The rest is up to him.

ARE THERE TOO MANY AWARD SHOWS?

Is it just me, or are there too many award shows on TV? You have the Emmy's, the Oscars, the Golden Globes, People Choice Awards, The Grammy's, Country Music Awards Show, SAG, MTV Movie Awards, MTV Music Video Awards.... And that's just in Hollywood. If I were to list the international award shows, the list would go on and on. And lets be honest, all these shows are for the same thing.... ACTING OR SINGING! Okay, I get it. You Hollywood people are talented. After all, I should know, I rubbed elbows with you Hollywood folks for a bit. But do you really need that many award shows? I mean, come on. I've been to some of your houses. Some of you have so many awards, from so many award shows, you don't now what to do with them. And lets just say this. In reality, you're just pretending...oh I mean, acting. It's not like you people are saving lives out there, or fighting the war on terrorism.

Hey I have an idea. Why don't we give awards to Great Americans? Lets roll out the red carpet for Americans who are great teachers, great soldiers, great heroes, great parents...you get my drift.

GREAT DIRECTING TRUMPS MORALITY?

Roman Polanski was convicted of child rape decades ago, and the wimp fled the country to avoid a 40 day jail sentence. Just recently, he was seized in Switzerland, and now faces extradition. There's a rather huge uproar about this though. Fans of Polanski, including the French President, and other European leaders are saying that Polanski doesn't deserve to go to jail, after all, he's a great movie director. WHAT?!!!

If only every child rapist were a great movie director...geez. Really? Come on. Give me a break. Get this guy back to America, and let justice be served. Period.

Oh, did I mention they caught him while attending an awards show? Hmm...maybe, those awards shows are good for something.

THAT'S MY PRESIDENT!

I just wanted to updated you on our President's latest actions:

• Iran fired short range missiles this weekend, capable of striking Israel. No official statement from Obama. He announced today that he's headed to Copenhagen to campaign for Chicago to host the 2016 Olympics. Does this man ever stop campaigning?
  
  
• Two separate non-related terrorist attacks were halted on American soil last weekend. No statement from Obama during his weekend press tour. All he wanted to do was talk about health care.
  
  
• Obama has said he officially supports a tax on soda, junk food, milk, and cows. He believes he should tax soda and junk food so you won't get fat. Yes, he not only is your President, but also your weight coach in chief. Oh, he wants to tax milk and cows, because they contribute to global warming. Apparently, cow farts emit more co2 than cars.
  
  Side note: Can people just come to their senses with this global warming nonsense. Did you know that Co2 is not a major greenhouse gas? It's only 9% of all greenhouse gasses. H20, water is the major greenhouse gas, that's why we have clouds. In fact, Co2, makes up less than .0383% of the earth's atmosphere. Could it be that the sun, which is not stable in temperature, has to do more with warming, than an insignificant gas?
  

DO THE RICH GET RICHER BY ROBBING THE POOR?
I don't think so.

Have you notice that there is a new type of prejudice in America? It's a prejudice against those who are wealthy. Here is our President's comments regarding his view on the wealthy:

"But, the Supreme Court never ventured into the issues of redistribution of wealth, and of more basic issues such as political and economic justice in society. To that extent, as radical as I think people try to characterize the Warren Court, it wasn’t that radical. It didn’t break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the founding fathers in the Constitution, at least as its been interpreted and Warren Court interpreted in the same way, that generally the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties."

Pretty scary quote, because he's basically saying that the United States Constitution is flawed because it doesn't address how to redistribute wealth. Who thinks like that? Apparently, our President.

Now when I hear the words, redistribution of wealth, and political and economic justice, my stomach cringes. What exactly is economic justice? It's basically the theory that those who are wealthy, got there from robbing the poor. So justice to the poor would consists of taking back the money from the rich, and given to the poor without question. Does that make any sense?

I have no doubt in my mind that there are crooks out there who are not moral. But the crooks are in the minority. The majority of those who are considered wealthy out there, got there from hard work. Yes, the rich get richer, but that's just because the rich know how to invest, know how to not get ripped off from the government, and know how to make money. This knowledge is really not anything that belongs to any rich exclusive club. Why, there are millions of books out there that can teach anyone on how to become rich. Is learning, and reaping the financial benefits from gaining knowledge a sin? So much of a sin, that "economic justice" is required to make everything fair?
